Better-Tasting Food
Starts in Your Yard.
Small-batch berry plants and fruit trees, raised without pesticides in a Latrobe backyard — so your family eats food grown for flavor, not mass production.

Small-Batch Organic Berry Plants
Grown from Scratch in Pennsylvania
The Sanctuberry started with a simple belief: everyone deserves access to premium, organically grown berry plants and fruit trees that haven't been tainted by harsh pesticides — the kind of chemicals that can end up in the food on your table. Tyler Mullen and his partner Alyssa Adams wanted something better for their family, and they wanted to share it with yours. That's why they started selling plants — so more people in western Pennsylvania could grow their own food at home instead of depending on grocery stores.
What began in their Latrobe, Pennsylvania backyard — with help from their daughters McKenzie and Milah — has grown into a small-batch organic plant operation dedicated to one mission: helping people grow their own food and stop relying on stores. We sell fresh, organically raised berry plants and fruit trees — not berries or produce. The Sanctuberry offers rare, heritage, and hard-to-find varieties that are nearly impossible to source locally, all raised without synthetic chemicals. The berries you see in our photos? We keep those for ourselves — but they represent what you could be harvesting in your own yard with our plants.
Quality Over
Everything Else
We don't grow for volume. We grow for quality — the kind that only comes from spending real time with your plants, knowing each variety by name, and refusing to cut corners because your family eats here too.
See What We Grow →Never Sprayed
No synthetic pesticides. No herbicides. No compromise. Our children grow up in this garden — that standard isn't negotiable.
Proven Before Sold
Every variety we offer is one we grow and harvest ourselves. We don't sell anything we haven't eaten, watched fruit, and learned from our own yard.
Rare by Design
We seek out varieties that commercial nurseries ignore — paw paws, golden raspberries, American plums. The rare ones are rare because they're grown for taste, not shelf life.
Direct from Our Hands to Yours
No middlemen. No warehouse. You buy directly from the people who grew it — Tyler and Alyssa, in Latrobe, PA, with their daughters beside them.

The grocery store doesn't know your soil.
We do.
Every plant we sell was grown fifty feet from where we eat dinner. That's not a marketing line — it's just the truth.

The paw paw is North America's largest native fruit — creamy, tropical-tasting, and completely underutilized. The trees are native to Pennsylvania, require no spraying, and produce abundantly once established. They're nearly impossible to find at commercial nurseries, which is exactly why we grow them.
Store-bought produce is often treated with harsh pesticides and synthetic chemicals that can end up in your food — and in your family's bodies. When you grow your own, you know exactly what went into it. With our organically raised plants, the answer is nothing harmful. That's why Tyler and Alyssa started The Sanctuberry: to help people take control of what they eat and stop depending on stores for something they can grow themselves.
